The system will stop reporting data, and a red flashing LED light will indicate that the device is no longer connected. At this point, you should try and drive to a different location that might have a stronger signal and make sure that there is a SIM card inserted in the device.

VuDrive includes an in-cabin camera for driver monitoring and a road-facing camera to capture safety events. The device also includes an accelerometer and gyro for precise driving behavior monitoring.
To reset the VuDrive device, insert a pin into the reset button slot located on the top of the device, just beneath the cable entrance cap. This will reboot the device without erasing any configuration settings. If issues continue after the reset, contact support for further troubleshooting assistance.
VuDrive detects Distraction, Eyes off the road, phone usage, smoking, camera Blockage, and seatbelt violation (depending on the model) using AI.

Yes. VuDrive records video in two main ways:
– Event-Triggered Clips: When a safety event occurs (e.g., harsh braking or sudden turns), a short video clip is automatically saved to the SD card and uploaded to the cloud.
– Full Trip Video Playback: Even if no events were triggered, you can access video recordings of full trips. These are available on demand under the “Video” tab of the trip page and are segmented into 10-minute intervals.
