Job description
- Issue bug resolution and sustaining support of existing releases, assist customers with debugging their bitstreams in relation to our drivers
- Bringup and debugging of FPGA development kits from different hardware vendors
- Programming bitstreams using Vivado, Quartus and similar environments
- Collaborate with software engineers in designing, testing and verifying the drivers for the above-mentioned bitstreams, using WinDriver’s API and the above mentioned IDEs
- Act as the company’s FPGA expert and source of knowledge, and joyfully share that knowledge with coworkers and customers
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions for them
- Help maintain code quality, organization and automation
Requirements
- Above 3 years of experience with designing bitstreams for Xilinx UltraScale+, Intel Cyclone/Arria/Stratix 10 development kits on Quartus/Vivado environments, using VHDL/Verilog.
- Experience with other FPGA vendors such as Lattice, Microchip – an advantage.
- Above 3 years of experience in C development
- Ability to analyze and recreate bugs from logs
- Excellent communication skills in English- must, other languages – an advantage
- Experience with driver development in Linux / Windows / MacOS
- Writing automation scripts using bash/Powershell
- Self-learning capabilities
- Highly motivated
